Ebyafaayo mu liigi

Akaseera kamunye emyuufu zekaamala nga teziri mu liigi ya ggwanga kyavirako okulakulana kw'oludda lwayo lw'abavubuka olwa Nakivubo Boys. Abakungu ba Express bonna badda mu Nakivubo Boys nebategeka ttiimu yabwe empya eyafuuka ey'amaanyi mu mupiira gwa Uganda. Nakivubo Boys yakyusa erinya neefuuka Nakivubo Villa, oluvannyuma n'ekyusa erinya n'eyitibwa Sports Club Villa.^[2]^[3]

Tebwali okutuusa mu sizoni ya 1993 Express bweyawangula ekikopo kya supa liigi, ng'awo baagobererwa akaseera kiraabu mweyasinga okufunira obuwanguzi n'ebikopo bya liigi mu 1995 ne 1996. Awo okutunda emipiira okwalimu baggya ba Express abakyasinze aba Villa baayingirira akaseera kebali bawanguliramu. Emyaka 10 egisembyeyo, engeri kiraabu eno gy'ebadde ekolamu mu liigi ezze esereba nga wadde mu 2011-12 kamunye emyuufu zaawangula ekikopo kya liigi omulundi omulala nga bamalidde akabonero kamu wagulu wa Bunamwaya SC. Sizoni eyaddako mu 2012–13 kiraabu eno yamalira mu kifo kya 11, ekifo kyawansi kyebakyasinze okumaliramu nga bali mu kibinja kyawagulu.
